Assigning Homework
Homework is an excellent tool to build on the work students are doing in class. Many students and parents request homework for extra practice. ClassUp has created preset homework for ELA grades 3-5 and math grades 2-8 for teachers to use. The homework corresponds to the students learning plan and the materials you went over in class! For any other grade levels you are able to select from the ClassUp question bank. See the videos below on how to assign homework from the classroom and from the All Classes tab in the desktop App.

Homework FAQ
Is Assigning Homework Required after every session?
Assigning homework is not a requirement. However, homework assignments are a great way to continue skills based learning in between sessions. We recommend communicating with the parents to determine what best fits the student's needs.

Do I have to create my own homework resources?

You are not required to create your own homework. ClassUp has preset homework that corresponds to the student's learning plan for ELA 3-5 Math 2-8. For other math and ELA grades you are able to select questions from the problem bank.
Will I be able to see the student's homework before their next scheduled class?
Yes, please ensure you communicate with the parent that you would like to see the student's completed work BEFORE the start of their next scheduled session. The parent has the ability to upload their child's completed homework before the start of your scheduled long term class.
