Trial Class Conversion Tips and Tricks

Go-fetch strategy

A great strategy for increasing student sign ups in your trial lessons is through a strategy called go-fetch. The idea is to give the parents and students a small task to complete before their next class. This could be as simple bringing some of their past school work to the next lesson. Doing this has the parents and students thinking about the next lesson and feeling responsible for getting the task done. You can easily increase parent buy in through this simple tool.

Specific Feedback

Really focus on the feedback you give the parents at the end. If a student excels in the lesson and is looking to get ahead it won't help the student to say they have nothing to work on. ClassUp always has materials that can challenge students and you can tell the parents about our wide range of materials and learning plans that we can adjust to the student.

ClassUp's Personalized Learning Plans and Materials

Make sure you are emphasizing the learning plans and materials to the parents. Parent's like seeing that there is a clear structure and plan for their child already. They want to know what they will be paying for when they purchase their subscription.

Be Yourself!

A large part of converting students during trial lessons is by making sure the student enjoys the class and that the parent feels you are passionate and ready to help their child. With your vast teaching experience and passion for education that we saw in your interview you can easily connect with the parents and students to show why you are the best choice for their student's education journey.
